The School of Social Ecology, of the University of California, Irvine decided to promote its research and successes by creating a series of short documentaries on their professors, their work and most importantly what impact their findings has on the world around us.
We were hired by DocuThesis to create a compelling story. This video has allowed the school to raise significant funds for research and further expand the reach of the school.
How to get funding for research:
Raising funds for research is a difficult job, because the people giving out the funding need to understand the impact the research will have. Creating a short 3-4 minute video emphasizing the work and the impact the research has is more likely to be watched and then in turn more likely to be funded.
